Friday Favorites: Beach Weekend Style under $20

Since I live in sunny Los Angeles, I'm always shopping for beach attire, even though I rarely step foot on the sand. It's just another excuse to do a little shopping for some inexpensive summer essentials. If you are venturing out for a weekend getaway, I found affordable items you can pack up, look cute and not spend time worrying about getting something ruined from (gasp!) sand.

2 Fantas Sunnies $12 The perfect pair of tortoise sunnies

3 H&M Scarf $12.95 Okay, you probably can't fully appreciate this parrot print (whaaat?!) until you see it in person, so fun! 

4 ON Straw Bag $18.35 ($22.94) I always look for this style each summer and I already ordered this one I spotted a few days ago at my store

5 Essie 'Neon' Collection in 'Vices Versa' $8.50 // Even though I had yet to see this neon collection, I am already obsessed.

6 F21 Dress $17.80 This is not as short at the store, but I would wear this as a cover-up or as a longer tank over the denim shorts, the color is so vibrant!

7 H&M Espadrilles $12.95 or buy this pair now on sale for $14.95 here espadrilles really are a summer staple and the price for these are a "I don't care what happens to them".

8 *Mossimo Shorts $19.99 The lithe lace detail peeking out is so adorable.

9 Xhilaration Tank $16.99 I love all of these tanks (they come in multiple prints)!

10 H&M Beach Tunic $9.95 // This may be the best and most affordable cover-up I've seen and so many prints to choose from, stop by your store to pick up a few before they sell out!

11 Merona Hat $14.99 This is a seriously great floppy hat that looks chic while providing actual sun coverage
