Target continues their trend of affordable designer style pieces with this New Mossimo Handbag for $40 that is similar to the Reed Krakoff  "IT" bag of 2012. Target's version is faux leather, not the gorgeous leather used on the $1,190 splurge bag, but it's pretty cute and has some nice details. While I was busy snapping pics, other customers started walking by admiring this little gem (and probably wondering why I was taking so many pictures), one was purchased right in front of me! This was part of their "Black & White" Collection that also includes a clutch, scarves, and two small crossbody bags. Really love the simple and chic style of these bags, they'll go with everything in your wardrobe and I just saved you $1,150 big ones - you're welcome! ♥

 

What do you think of the Mossimo Handbag - is this bag worthy of your spending dollars?

 

 Splurge vs. Steal - I could never afford the gorgeous Reed Krakoff bag, but I do think the Mossimo bag is worthy of using my giftcard on!

Target Thresold Modern Cottage

Target's New Home Decor Collection by Thresold is called Modern Cottage - the bright tangerine orange, the turquoise, the black and white graphic patterns rival the best of Crate and Barrel any day, but are much more affordable. I really love this collection as you can probably tell from all of the pictures I took. Oh, and I cannot forget all of the parrots..the parrots took me by surprise a bit, I'll probably be passing on those little fellas, I don't want my owls to get jealous.

I have always been a fan of the Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palettes, but for $50, I could never bring myself to buy one. Today I looked at again and still walked away, I then went to Ulta and discovered Physicians Formula just released their own version called, you guessed it.."Nude Eyes" and for $12,  I can add this one to make make-up collection and still buy a new lipstick and nail polish ♥ 

What do you think - is this palette close enough to the real deal (even the packaging is similar) or do you prefer the Urban Decay?

Not as pigmented as the Urban Decay colors, more shimmery and this one could get messy with all of the colors not seperated by anything.

I didn't go to the mall for after Christmas shopping, but I did manage to get to my favorite HomeGoods, TJMaxx, and Marshalls stores without any of the crowds (since I shopped in the morning hours).  I found some really fabulous finds along the way ♥

 I was surprised to find this coffee-table size book at Marshalls.

 This book is a collection of Audrey's international movie posters and magazine covers.

I have never many of these pictures before.

Kate Spade New York stationary. I skipped Christmas cards this year and thought these would make fun 'Happy New Year' cards that read Eat Less Chocolate, Break a Resolution for $6.99, also picked up notecards with yes, polka dots on them for $5.99.

Ceramic eggcrate to store and display my jewelry. This one is so pretty and made in Portugal for only $7.99.

Pecksniff's Moisturizing Liquid Soap for $5. If you are lucky enough to find the Limited Edition 'Wild Bluebell & Jasmine' grab it while you can, it is amazing!

George Stanley mini 3pk journal sets for $5 in cool metallic designs for stocking stuffers to keep track of those genius ideas :)

I found a few things at Marshalls and TJ Maxx while looking for that adorable dessert stand The Fashion Palate scored (check it out here http://www.thefashionpalate.com/2012/12/marshalls-sweetest-score-and-some.html). Here's what I put in my shopping cart ♥

 1. Buffalo polka dot denim shirt $29. I actually loved this shirt at Macy's when I first eyed it two months ago, so I was super happy to see it on the rack for way less than $89

2. Anne Klein knee-high socks in cute prints $6.99 for 3pk, perfect for peeking out of my boots. I know, I know, more polka dots..I'm a bit obsessed.

3. Biermann Marzipan Candy $4.99 Whoa, these are at Dylan's Candy Bar for $18, these were definately coming home with me.
