I picked up a few affordable items (most are less than $25) to add to my spring and summer wardrobe this past weekend and wanted to share my fab finds with you ♥

Bow Necklace I fell in love with this Kate Spade inspired necklace, the chain adds some edge to the bow.
 
LC Lauren Conrad Mint Polka Dot Blouse I actually own the same top in a peachy pink and larger dots from last summer and love the bow tie in the back.

Denim Dress I am always looking for the perfect denim dress and this new one should be on everyone's list, perfect for work or play and it's on sale this week - so they are selling fast!

Gold Espadrilles This is an early summer buy and you can never have too many wedges, especially in gold. These are on clearance online and I cannot believe the quality for such a great price.

Aviators I am a big fan of aviators and I like the pop of mint green around the frames and temples.

Mint Nail Poilsh Cute color, but I also know I will probably only wear a few times, so for $2, pick it up on sale this week

White Top I buy at least one new fresh white shirt each summer and this is so beachy to me.

Old Navy Blogger Event + New Arrivals!

On Thursday Night, I attended my first Blogger event at Old Navy in Los Angeles. It was a night of fashion, food, and meeting new people. I didn't know what to expect when I arrived, but everyone was so nice and welcoming. The new arrivals are so new, most aren't available online, but the store has amazing in store deals right now, you'll definitely want to check out everything in person anyway.

Wow! The accessories and jewelry selection at this location is so fun!! My usual store doesn't carry  jewelry and they are not sold online, so you must check these out in person to see all the fab finds.

Happy Chic by Jonathan Adler at JCP

I am beyond excited to shop JCP's (yes, they are at it again!) Happy Chic Collection by Designer Jonathan Adler. While the collection isn't yet available at all stores, you can shop online for these super affordable finds that will certainly add some fun and whimsy to your space. This is just a small sampling of what is available and these last few days I have going through the entire collection piece by piece to bring you items for less than $50. This line also includes furniture and some adorable kitchen accessories (very similar to Anthropologie's style) I am an owl lover and there are so many items to choose from, I don't know what I will choose, sigh. {celeb style notebook} Emily VanCamp

I chose Emily's look because she is one of many celebs to be rocking a denim vest and they are back again and bigger than ever. You can score an affordable one just about anywhere right now and one of the best places (besides Target and Forever 21) is at your local Marshalls or TJMaxx. I saw quite a few this past weekend for as little as $20, a great way to add some edge or a vintage feel to your look. Even though Emily is only grocery shopping in Los Angeles, I would have thrown on a scarf or long necklace on to add some visual interest or a pop of color.

{Splurge v. Steal} J.Crew v. Joe Fresh for JCP + launch pics!

Canadian retailer Joe fresh arrived at JCP this past weekend to excited customers (myself included). I was there on Saturday morning and was impressed at the affordable prices and strong resemblance to high end retailer J.Crew. When I first spotted the little checkered shirts, I knew it looked familiar, but it wasn't until I walked by J.Crew's store the next day (yes, I hit the mall twice this weekend) that I noticed a very similar shirt. I almost went back to JCP for a few more after that close encounter..and still might. Don't wait to pick one of these up, they seem to be their best seller and now we know why. LULU by Lulu Guinness for JCP - Spring Collection

The New LULU by Lulu Guinness for JCP has arrived and it is just as adorable the second time around. JcPenney went all out for this new spring collection with it's own "store within a store" shop (their new format showcasing designer duds) complete with matching polka dot carpet, yay! 4 Favorites { Wish List }

This week I made a wish list of things that are out of my spending comfort zone. I don't usually splurge on just one item, but an "investment piece" (a quality item that prob isn't from Target or Old Navy, my weekly shopping habits) can be worth every penny if you find yourself wearing it on a regular basis.

1 Rebecca Minkoff This bag is on just about everyone's wish list and I LOVE the 'jungle green' color. I also have my eye on the 'mint' color, which is sold out almost everywhere.

2 DVF Loves Roxy I am head over heels for this signature Diane von Furstenberg print in her first collab with surf brand Roxy. I would feel super stylish walking around in this by the pool (definitely a fantasy since I have very fair skin and rarely go near the beach or a pool).

3 J.Crew Ballet Flats I still do not own any of their famous Italian made shoes and I am crazy for the stripes and gold cap toes.

4 J.Crew Necklace I am obsessed with anything nautical (in case you were wondering) and I love the rope details, so unique.
