I am super excited to be sharing Old Navy's new and totally adorable sweaters with you. We all know how quickly their graphic sweaters sell out and I'm sure these will be no exception (I'm already ordering the cherry print asap!). Another fab find is the cosmetic travel set sold at Nordstrom in my fav polka dot print.
Here are a few shopping cart worthy finds for less than $25 ♥
I have been awaiting the release of the New Kate Spade Book since I first read it was in the works. Imagine my disappointment when the first Barnes and Noble I stopped at didn't even carry it. Fast forward a few days later when I stopped at my favorite bookstore and feasted my eyes on a coffee table size art book that made my eyes pop from all of the creativity and color pouring from the pages. This is a 20th Anniversary Book that features ad campaigns, products and inspiration throughout the years and it is a must for any Kate Spade lover or anyone who loves fashion, art and all things pretty. I really wanted to share some pictures from the book with you ♥
On Sunday I went to a TJX Event for reward card members at Homegoods. This is a reward access card (not a credit card) that is free to join when you sign up in store to start earning points and perks on your Homegoods, Marshalls, and TJ Maxx purchases. The monthly event usually takes place on the last Sunday of the month and e-mail invites are sent out after three qualifying purchases. The stores open early ( approx. 2-3 hours before regular store hours) for their reward customers, so you get some prime shopping time without the crowds and first dibs on new merchandise.
This is the first time I made it to one of these events (I recently signed up after not hearing anything about this program) and it was a lot of fun. You are greeted at the door with a free re-usable shopping bag that included a free gift inside. I received a multi-use tool kit, TJ Maxx/Marshalls gave out Fashion Emergency Kits..darn. You also have a chance to win a gift card, I didn't win, but your chances aren't bad with only around 20 shoppers to compete with. Complimentary coffee, muffins, and mini water bottles rounded out the free goodies. If you are a frequent shopper at any of these stores, I highly recommend signing up.
Have you been to a TJX Reward Event?
Coffee and Muffin Spread - nothing fancy, but it's still nice touch.
(sorry for the blurry pic, my camera was having "issues")
My well-worn TJX Card
Free Re-usable Shopping Bag
All-in-One Tool Kit in a mesh zippered bag
Even though it was raining - my store had new "Beachy" items displayed everywhere
This pelican for $19.99 was was of my favorites,
even though he didn't come home with me
The fourth display of beach inspired merchandise
I am slightly obsessed with signs, paint the word "Beach" or "Cafe" on it and I am powerless..thankfully I walked away empty handed on this shopping trip.
A rainbow appeared as we drove into the storm just a few minutes in front of us
Between the New Arrivals and the Clearance items, I didn't know which department to start shopping first. Decisions, decisons. I walked out with two heart printed tops, a blazer, and a bottle of perfume. I was going to purchase the neon clutch, still thinking I should have, since I am really into the neon trend and it was the cost of two Starbucks latte's..I have no idea why I put it down.
Any favorites in this bunch?
Kenar Heart Printed blouses $16.99 - so adorable for Valentine's Day or cute with jeans (the print was difficult to photograph with the bright red, but so worth checking out in person!) I bought both colors, I also grabbed the navy blazer hiding behind it (totally forgot to snap a pic at the store) for $24.99
Such a tease! My size is never left, despite having around 20 boxes of other sizes.
Cynthia Rowley Suede Loafers $34.99
I saw this box and recognized it the second I stepped foot in the store, I got serious looks from two shoppers. This sells at Anthropologie for..$70 AND had the Anthro price tag still on it! It was on clearance for $20 and the perfume bottle is basically a bird statue, kind of cool looking if you ask me. I'll be stopping at another Marshalls just to see if they carry the other scents available, these would make excellent gifts.
Clearance Bags: Large Neon & Black Clutch was only $7// Cynthia Rowley Zip Pouch $10//
Tahari I.D. Case $10 *other slightly larger Tahari wallets were $15
Orla Kiely Notebooks and mini notebooks $2.99 and $1.99 in the traditional Orla prints
It was raining only a short time before this was taken - keeping myself busy in the passenger's seat.
I've always loved Sarah Michelle Gellar since her "Buffy" days, but lately I have been liking her accessible casual style that everyday girls can pull off and still look cute while running errands or in Sarah's case, heading to lunch. Most of the items I chose on this page I either own or have seen in person. I also found these Forever 21 Polka Dot Jeans online and had to add them in since they are a bargain for less than $25. *Use the discount codes at the bottom to save even more.
Every weekend I seem to find more and more things to love about Target. So many handbags to choose from and the quality just keeps getting better (yes, the prices have gone up, but there is always a sale around the corner) Most items are so new they aren't yet available online.
Anything catch your eye?
Fresh New Spring Wristlets for $14.99 (shop polka dot wallet here) and Phone Holders for $12.99 in graphic prints and pastel colors, I want them all!
This Merona Satchel is featured this month's Lucky Magazine and it sure to sell out since it resembles a Coach bag with a $39.99 price tag. It isn't as heavy/weighty as a Coach, but the quality is certainly there, in person the color is more of an orange-red, than the pure red it shows in the magazine pic.
Miranda Kerr at LAX looking stylish as ever. A sheer leopard blouse with a black bra showing if you are feeling daring or wear it with a black or nude tank top underneath for a more conservative look. When I saw this outfit, I immediately knew where to get some similar pieces since I have been shopping Target, Old Navy and Urban Outfitters regularly..finally being a shopaholic has paid off, well, it has for my readers anyway ♥
What do you think of this look - how would you wear it?
I was so excited to open my very first Ipsy Glam Bag. Thanks to my Fashionista readers for recommending this subscription beauty bag. I finally received The January 'Super Stars' bag after successfully avoiding any spoilers from other sites and that was not easy, since being surprised is part of fun for me. Ipsy bags only cost $10 (including shipping) a month and you can cancel at any time. As a self professed beauty junkie and a bargain shopper, this is the perfect fit to try out new products. This bag included 2 full size products and 3 deluxe samples valued around $40. New Glam Bag subscriptions are temporarily sold out (this just happened yesterday!) and a waitlist is available to secure your spot here♥
