The Fancy Box - Coco Rocha edition April 2013

This is my first Fancy Box I ordered and I only wanted it for two reasons, supermodel Coco Rocha was curating the box and choosing her favorite products and I received a coupon code for $20 off my total. The Fancy Box is a monthly subscription that is available in a variety of different themes to suit your taste. The price is $39 + $8 for shipping and you can cancel anytime. I paid only $22 and cancelled after receiving the first box because even though they claim to include $80 plus worth of goodies, I know how much these items are really worth on sale and I would never pay over $40 for "surprise" items, but a one time thing was totally worth it.

The Coco Box is a regular subscription now and if you are looking for a fun gift idea or want to see what you'll get in your mystery box, take a chance for one month.

**NEW Coupon Code Take $20 off any subscription using code 20OFF14

{Splurge v. Steal} Rebecca Minkoff Crossbody Bag

I have been coveting a Rebecca Minkoff bag for quite sometime and I still haven't made the purchase. Fortunately for handbag lovers, I found this very similar bag at Charming Charlie's for only $30 (my store actually extended their sale a week at it is now only $20!!) This really is a charming store and it is organized by color, which makes shopping so fun and easy. They sell affordable handbags, trendy jewelry, and a small selection of clothing, although the accessories are where it's at..for me anyway.

What do you think of this look-a-like bag - would you carry it?

Very similar details on the "steal" version: chain link strap, tassel zippers, size and shape, and the color..what's not to love?!

{celeb style notebook} Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow looked edgier than usual in Los Angeles for her Book launch. She is wearing an Isabel Marant Dress and belt and gorgeous Michael Kors shoes, of course I couldn't quite find an identical version of the shoes, but since it is getting warmer, these are a good alternative. I recently saw this dress at Forever 21 and couldn't believe how close it is to the designer dress. Since it is her book tour, I had to add to this to the mix.
What do you think of this look - how would you style it?

F21 Speckled Dress $22.80// Target Caged Heels $24// Cookbook $17.39//
Asos Studded Belt $13.28// Maybelline Color Show in Wine and Dined $2.99

Spring Fling - under $40

Spring is here! Time to break out the brights, pastels, florals and yes, more nautical inspired clothing. I just ordered the striped dress and look forward to wearing it on the weekends with some sandals, wedges or even my favorite pair of Converse shoes. I love orange and blue worn together and nothing would make me happier than picking up that brightly colored bag as I walk out the door. The chain necklace is such a find since it reminds me of J.Crew without the price tag. Floral pants are at the top of my spring list, maybe because the last few pieces I've purchased have been in the minty green family and these would be a perfect match. Oh, and don't forget to pick up some pretty pastel polish, this set will give you a nice variety ♥

What are you Currently Craving for Spring?

 1 F21 Chain Necklace $12.80// 2 Zara Mini Shopper $39.90// 3 Old Navy Sandals $19.94//
