5 Beauty Favorites under $20

'Tis the season to pick up beauty favorites at affordable prices! With drugstore makeup prices increasing, it can sometimes be more economical to buy seasonal holiday kits by department store brands. I wanted to share five of my finds so you can save money while trying out quality products.

Do you buy holiday sets to try out luxury brands for less?

1. Smashbox 'On the Rocks' Mini Bestsellers Kit $10 ($36 value)
This is a crazy good deal - try these out for yourself or as a stocking stuffer for the beauty lovers in your life. The price of the primer alone would cost $15, not only are you paying less, but you can also sample two more products!

2. Lorac 'Pocket PRO' Palette $15 ($57 value) 
This mini eyeshadow palette of the popular bestseller contains the perfect neutral shades for home or to take with you on the go and the textures are buttery soft.

3. Elizabeth & James Nirvana Mini Rollerball Set $20 (temporarily sold out online)
I heard so many good things about Mary Kate & Ashley's perfume line (named after their other siblings), I had to try them. These scents were made to be layered together for a unique smell (and clever marketing tool) or worn separate, the white for daytime and the black for evening. Instead of buying two large bottles and spending close to $150, I decided to try the mini versions instead and since I rarely go through a bottle of perfume, this just makes sense.

4. bareMinerals 'Touch-Up To Go' LE Collection $15 (value $28.50)
I bought a similar version of this last year and already ordered it again this year, I love the size and gold packaging.

5. Polka Dot Train Case $9.90
Forever 21 has been stepping up their beauty game and I am loving all the fun and affordable accessories, this would make an adorable case to put a few goodies in as a holiday gift and polka dots are always a Kate Spade favorite too!
