Ipsy Glam Bag - Sept 2013

The September Ipsy Glam Bag is here and the theme is Classic Beauty. This month's items are a mixed bag for me..literally. While I always appreciate the value of paying only $10 for everything you see for almost $50 worth of products, I'm not super excited for any one item. Maybe I'm just overwhelmed with all the beauty products I now have in my (well-organized) bathroom drawers, under the sink, and stuffed in the medicine cabinet like a squirrel stashing nuts. I think I need a beauty intervention, someone call 911! This monthly subscription is just too good not to get and even though I may not use everything, I love seeing that metallic pink envelope in my mailbox!

Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm in 'Red Apple' Full Size Value $19

I was surprised by how pigmented this color is. I thought it would just be a lightly colored balm, the color really pops and it stayed on my lips hours without reapplying,

definitely my favorite item in the bag.

NYX Eyeshadow in 'Lanikai' Full Size Value $5

This is a cool blue-purple color and I've never tried the NYX eyeshadows

Elizabethe Mott 'It's So BIG' Mascara, Deluxe $7

Honestly, I have never heard of this brand, and I do like sampling new ones through Ipsy

Starlooks Kohl Eyeliner in 'Obsidian', Full Size $12

Black looks very harsh on my pale skin, so I probably won't be using this.

Skyn 'Hydro Cool Firming Eye Gels' - 2 Sets, Deluxe $6 

This is a bonus sample of Ipsy Bag Curator Michelle Phan's New cosmetic line 'em'.

The faux lace cosmetic bag is very cute.

By the way, some very lucky subscribers received a Butter London
