Ipsy Glam Bag - July 2013

I look forward to my Ipsy bag each month and while I have barely sampled last month's bag of delights I have already moved on to this month's summer themed "beach beauty" bag. I like to remain as spolier free as I can, but I was slightly disappointed with my products this month after hoping to open up my bag and find the bright orange nail polish so many Ipsters received. I'm still happy with the items, it's just not my favorite month of goodies. Everything is still worth much more than the ten dollars it costs me every month and I am liking my items more each day.

Treat yourself to a monthly surprise by subscribing here and get on waiting list for the next bag!!

What did you get in your Ipsy bag?

All the fun in one plastic bag!

Beach Beauty Month

POP Beauty Pouty Pop Crayon in Coral Crush, value $5
This is a creamy soft lip product in a nice shade of coral.

derma e Microdermabrasion Scrub, value $4
I love a good exfoliator so I am excited to try this one.

COOLA Mineral Sunscreen, value $4
Always welcome to get a travel size sunscreen sample to keep in my purse and this one is organic.

Sexy Hair Weather Proof Humidity Resisitent Spray, value $5
This is supposed to save your hair from the humid summer, I hope it works!

BH Cosmetics California Collection Eyeshadow Sample Palette, value $3
I am not a big eyeshadow wearing person to begin with and this seems messy, I'll
store this in a zip bag and use it for travel down the road since the colors seem decent.

 Bonus item:
Nicole by Opi from the Selena Gomez Collection in "Pretty Plum", value $8
This is my bonus gift for referring two people. I'll be wearing this when
the temperature changes for fall since it is a darker hue.

The cool neon bag will be put ot good use!

Ipsy Glam Bag - June Beauty Bag

I finally received my Ipsy Bag for June...okay it arrived a bit late, but not this late. I kept forgetting to take pics and post..oops. Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription bag for only $10 and includes deluxe  and full size products. Although this month products are not my favorite, I loved the gel liner, bronzing powder, and cute cosmetic bag. I received over $50 worth of products, another ten dollars well spent.

Since this review is a bit, um, late..there are already Ipsy spoilers for the July bag, I posted one at the end of this post. The value for the July bag looks to be a good one, so make sure you sign up before another wait list starts!

Subscribe to Ipsy here .
What do you think of this month's bag?

All the goodies

"On the Wild Side" is this month's theme..bring on the animal print!

Leopard and neon in one bag..love it!

 Cailyn Gel Eyeliner, value $21
I received a gel liner in a previous subscription bag, but wasn't so successful using it.
This one has rave reviews and is so much easier to apply with the built in brush.

 J.Cat False Eyelashes, value $3.99
I have never used fake lashes and still don't plan on it..I wear contacts and
the  idea of putting glue near my eye is just not my thing, mascara is good enough.

Starlooks Lip Pencil in 'Tickle Me Pink', value $12
I don't own any liners right now, so I'll keep this in my make-up bag if I need one.

I like a nice sparkle, but this set reminds me of Halloween make-up,
so maybe I'll save it for my next costume, lol.

NYX Mosiac Powder Blush in 'Dare', value $7
I received the multi-colored blush and I am so happy I did.
Perfect for summer to add a little color to my fair skin.

Bonus item:
I referred two friends to Ipsy and received this cute little bracelet from Baublebar.
*Always make sure you comment on their website or update your online reviews for bonus items!

The spoiler item:
This is Ipsy's teaser pic and it appears to be The POP Beauty Crayon since it also reads:
"A pop of perfect color will be yours from sand to sundown."

Glossy Box - December "Glamour, Glitz, and Gloss"

I was super excited when I spotted my first Glossy Box in the mail! I had read about subscription boxes and wanted to try one for myself. I purchased the December "Glamour, Glitz, and Gloss" Box on Black Friday for $12.60 (each box is regularly $21/month) and includes 5 deluxe sized samples. I doubt this box is enough to get me to sign up again, especially at regular price, but it was fun one-time only purchase.

Sign up at www.glossybox.com and use code BLUSH to receive a free glossybox blush thru Dec 31, 2012.

What do you think of these "mystery" boxes that let you try new products while adding a fun surprise to your day?

The anticipation.

My first Christmas gift! Always a big fan of presentation, this does not disappoint.
