By now, most of you have heard the exciting news that retailer H&M is now available to shop in the U.S. online. While yesterday's post focused on their amazing selection of home items, today's will be all about their affordable clothing and accessories (my favorite part of their store!). With so many great pieces to shop, I decided to narrow it down by choosing a weekend look that can easily transition into your fall wardrobe adding some cool pants or boyfriend jeans instead of shorts. H&M Online Shopping - Home Edition under $30

Just yesterday, I mentioned in my blog post that H&M had announced their online store for the U.S. would launch in September..well, September came early and shopping online is now a very happy reality!!

The affordable and chic home store is what has me most excited. This modern meets vintage style includes duvets sets for less than thirty dollars, kitchen items with a very Anthropologie vibe, and all around fun accessories. Since I haven't seen anything in person, I can't comment on the quality of the merchandise, but that won't stop be from buying a few items that are in my shopping cart..someone has to review them!

Tropical Punch under $25

Behold the tropical summer statement trend..the palm trees, the greenery, the floral prints. I love a nice punch of color or print to add a visual treat to the eyes, just beware of wearing too much of a good thing. Oh, and I had to choose at least one solid piece of clothing into the mix and I couldn't resist this cool zipper top from Zara.

Ikea (yes that Ikea!) Summer Finds for less than $20

Every few months I like to make a trip to Ikea to shop the new seasonal items and this time I was in search of some affordable (i.e. "cheap") summer finds, mission accomplished. I didn't have to travel to France to find $1 glassware made in France, just my local store.. and a polka dot rug for $20 has me dreaming of a walk-in closet or at least seeing spots everywhere a la Kate Spade.

 

Have you shopped at Ikea lately, what did you buy?

These may be the cutest $1 glasses I've seen in a while and very Kate Spade. Remember to also take a look at the pink gingham tray, so girly.

 

I'll be using some of the glasses to hold pens on my desk and one for my make-up brushes.

Tall Pineapple Glasses $1.49 - so adorable.

Such a cool tray, love that it matches the pineapple glasses, $7.99

This polka dot rug (Made in Egypt) for $20 would liven up any space, especially a closet space.
This dotted rug resembles the one that JCP has to display their LULU brand (see pic here )

 One of their newest posters for $12 and I couldn't love it more.

So impressed with the new displays at Ikea, shabby chic at it's best.
 

 

I need to make another shopping trip to Ikea soon before everything is sold out.

Spring Fling - under $40

Spring is here! Time to break out the brights, pastels, florals and yes, more nautical inspired clothing. I just ordered the striped dress and look forward to wearing it on the weekends with some sandals, wedges or even my favorite pair of Converse shoes. I love orange and blue worn together and nothing would make me happier than picking up that brightly colored bag as I walk out the door. The chain necklace is such a find since it reminds me of J.Crew without the price tag. Floral pants are at the top of my spring list, maybe because the last few pieces I've purchased have been in the minty green family and these would be a perfect match. Oh, and don't forget to pick up some pretty pastel polish, this set will give you a nice variety ♥

Bow Necklace I fell in love with this Kate Spade inspired necklace, the chain adds some edge to the bow.
 
LC Lauren Conrad Mint Polka Dot Blouse I actually own the same top in a peachy pink and larger dots from last summer and love the bow tie in the back.

Denim Dress I am always looking for the perfect denim dress and this new one should be on everyone's list, perfect for work or play and it's on sale this week - so they are selling fast!

Gold Espadrilles This is an early summer buy and you can never have too many wedges, especially in gold. These are on clearance online and I cannot believe the quality for such a great price.

Aviators I am a big fan of aviators and I like the pop of mint green around the frames and temples.

Mint Nail Poilsh Cute color, but I also know I will probably only wear a few times, so for $2, pick it up on sale this week

White Top I buy at least one new fresh white shirt each summer and this is so beachy to me.

Happy Chic by Jonathan Adler at JCP

I am beyond excited to shop JCP's (yes, they are at it again!) Happy Chic Collection by Designer Jonathan Adler. While the collection isn't yet available at all stores, you can shop online for these super affordable finds that will certainly add some fun and whimsy to your space. This is just a small sampling of what is available and these last few days I have going through the entire collection piece by piece to bring you items for less than $50. This line also includes furniture and some adorable kitchen accessories (very similar to Anthropologie's style) I am an owl lover and there are so many items to choose from, I don't know what I will choose, sigh.
