Trend Notebook - 10 items to buy under $30

Fall fashion is hitting stores fast and furious with many trends from last season still going strong. The peplum has now become one of the most popular "trends" and is now considered more of a staple piece, since it is so flattering on every shape. Of course, even a girl on a budget wants some fabulous new pieces, so here are 10 items to add a pop of chic to your wardrobe for less than $30.

What's your favorite trend?

1 BP Oversized Sunnies $14 // 2 F21 Studded Wrap Bracelet $8.80 // 3 F21 Tres Chic Sweater $22.80 // 4 * ON Flats $22.94 // 5 BP Boyfriend Watch $22 // 6 Target peplum $17.99 //
9 F21 Faux Leather Satchel $29.80 // 10 Mossimo Dressy Shorts $19.99

*Old Navy Flats Size up if ordering online. For example: I usually wear a 7, but purchased an 8 (or if you are okay with returns, order both sizes just to sure!)

1 Oversized Sunnies This style is back again with a jewel shape.

2 Wrap Bracelets Even bigger for fall with studs, skulls and foxes adorning them.

3 Statement Sweaters Another trend that is even bigger with French sayings leading the way.

4 Ankle Strap Flats A chic style of flats passed down from high- end designers, like Valentino.

5 Chunky Boyfriend Watch With new styles and colors for fall *This one from Nordstrom is always selling out and this tortoise style is new!

6 Leopard and Peplum This is really two trends in one, a great piece to scoop up.

7 Distressed Boyfriend Cropped Jeans Distressed jeans are back and look updated in a cropped looser fit.

8 Flyway Sweater This won't be considered a huge trend, but this updated and tailored style looks chic and replaces a jacket for a softer look.

9 Satchel This statement bag is perfect to wear with everything, now and later in a perfect neutral.

10 The Dressy Short A chic alternative to a skirt for a day or night out.

  1. Ummm I'm buying Tres Chic tomorrow if I find it! :P
Also, I'm so glad peplums are here to stay. They are so cute and really glam up a jeans and shirt look.
