We are one day away from fall, and while I'm sweating it out in 90 degree heat, I've been waiting for Old Navy to launch their next 40% off sale! I like to pick up a few favorites that have been hanging out in my cart, their flannels are still my go-to on the weekends and this must-have jacket for only $18 is the perfect grab & go piece. In case you missed the lace-up flat trend, I prefer the suede version from ON, the ties are softer than the faux leather. The blanket scarf trend is still huge, grab one at a super affordable price before you actually need one, they sell out fast!

Old Navy 35+ New Arrival Store Pics + Discounts!

The latest collection at Old Navy is definitely fall-ready, while you'll still find shorts and rompers, the color palette is much darker with jackets and long sleeves popping up. I'm loving the direction of this new collection, a bit Banana Republic (their sister store) meets J.Crew. While I stopped at two different locations, neither store had all of the new arrivals I spotted online, but I am excited for fall fashion despite the 90 degree summer temps. It's almost the weekend and with temps soaring into the nineties this week in Los Angeles, I'm ready to hit the beach...or at least "near" the beach for some outdoor shopping. Finding summer clothing and accessories is always so much fun thanks to some amazing sales and huge markdowns to get your beachy look on for even less!

Old Navy Store Pics + 35% off Discount!

This weekend at Old Navy, I snapped so many photos of their new spring arrivals I barely left myself actual shopping time...barely. I was there to scoop up some of their $10 slip-ons shoes I love so much, a quick trip I thought. What I didn't expect to see was all of the super cute clothing and accessories because just a week before, most of this stuff wasn't on the floor yet.

Style Steal: Kate Spade 'Look for Less'

Kate Spade is by far my favorite brand, the creativity and whimsy style of each piece is just so darn cute. Luckily, other more affordable stores "create" their own version from time to time. Right now, Old Navy is taking some inspiration from Kate's holiday collection last season and I'm not complaining, especially since they are also on sale!

Friday Favorites: Old Navy Edition under $26

Old Navy has some of the cutest fall must-haves and today started a storewide 30% sale (even more for cardholders at a whopping 40%!) to save big before it even gets cold...for those of us in Los Angeles anyway. Here are my favorites and a few already in my over-stuffed online cart.

Blue + Orange + White Notebook

One of my favorite color combos to wear in the summer are shades of blue paired with pops of orange. Maybe because my uniform usually consists of denim, so I can easily add that splash of color without being over the top.

Even though I am in the middle of a heatwave, I still love lightweight sweaters to throw on while I am on my imaginary beach, I mean the mall of course.  Yes, that sweatshirt dress from the Gap may be on the heavier side for this weather, but it's not hot all the time, especially if you are working in air conditioning. One again, I'll be adding new sunglasses to my growing collection, because you cannot go wrong with Forever 21 sunnies. While I usually like to keep items under thirty dollars, I couldn't resist adding these Jessica Simpson wedges into the mix after seeing them for full price at Macy's!

Sales! Sales! Sales! Weekend Deals not to miss under $30

This weekend is turning out to be a huge weekend for major sales! While Easter doesn't traditionally bring in these discounts, I'm not complaining. I chose a few of my favorite nautical inspired items and I am in love with those striped shorts, they are the cutest. While I wasn't able to include Express in my picks (technical issues on their site), the handbags are very high quality...I had to hold myself back from not ordering every bag.

Style Board: Inspired by Kate Hudson

When I saw a picture of Kate Hudson at the "Decades of Glamour" event, I fell head over heels for this gorgeous shade of bright yellow. Paired with white for a fresh and chic look (my favorite kind of style!). Since then, I've seen this vibrant color popping up at virtually every store. I couldn't resist also adding a bit of the Irish with some green and floral for St.Patrick's Day. After finding the Peter Pilotto sunnies at the Target launch, I'm becoming addicted to mod styles and shades to add a super affordable punch to your look.

Old Navy New Arrival In-Store Pics!!

This past weekend I stopped at a newly renovated Old Navy store and couldn't believe all the cute new spring arrivals. I didn't know where to start first, until I noticed a chambray shirt dress on sale for only $12! There were so many unadvertised specials, I was slightly caught off guard since my original intention was to return a dress that was too big. Almost an hour later after snapping several pictures for the blog, I was lucky to walk out with only three things...although I know I'll be back for more.

Weekend Favorites - under $30

I saw so many fresh new arrivals at so many stores this weekend, I can barely keep track of what item was from what store. This list of weekend favorites are things that I am still thinking about and are my shopping wish list.

Clearly mint and polka dots are at the top of my list and yet another tote from Forever 21 looks like real leather and could pass for a designer bag in person! These past two weeks I've been at Old Navy more times that I can remember and my favorite affordable pants are on sale this week, pick some up if you get a chance. I have been seeing so many kimono's and this skull printed is my favorite
(so far). I also spotted LC aviators that look more expensive than their twenty dollar price tag.

DEAL ALERT: Old Navy Dresses 40% off until Midnight!

Old Navy is taking 40% off all dresses through midnight tonight (2/26)! I love their dresses, especially worn with some sandals and a cardigan for a casual weekend. They've also added many work-appropriate dresses recently, I love throwing on a blazer over a shorter dress if you work in a less conservative workplace.

Anchor's Away! New Old Navy Arrivals + Store pics!!

          With January almost behind us (that was quick!), spring arrivals are bringing a wave of nautical style to get your sailor girl on in full swing! Old Navy has an entire collection of all things nautical with anchors and stripes adorning sweaters, shirts, scarves, and bags. While I am patiently waiting for everything to show up at my local store, here is a peek at what is available with more styles to come.  I also couldn't resist adding this adorable necklace from Forever 21 and a chic headband from Nordstrom. I'll be adding a bit of nautical glam to my wardrobe with the back-in- stock sequin tank top for only $8!

Sales to Shop, Shop, Shop!

The mid-week shopping deals are here and they are even better than last week! As always, shop fast because items sell out fast. I would have loved to share more of my Gap finds, but items were literally disappearing from my cart as I was gathering picks to show you. One of the best deals I found is this jacket, oh how I wish it was cold enough to justify buying it. My advice to shop the Gap sale is to start with jackets/outerwear first, then sweaters, and load up on cute striped tees too!

I'm am so excited to share this very chic find with you! For those fashionistas familiar with the iconic French-inspired sweatshirt, you can now scoop up an affordable version for your own closet. The original is long sold out, so pick this up while it's still available. I first spotted this crave-worthy sweatshirt on style blogger Blair from Atlantic-Pacific and loved the casual chic way she styled it.

1 Zara Wrap-Around Sweater Now that I am closer to a Zara store, I make frequent stops to check out new arrivals and I am constantly amazed at the quality of merchandise and this sweater is a steal!

 

2 Chic Sweatshirt It literally has chic written on it, so you can't wrong, plus it has cool faux leather shoulder details.

 

3 Black Tote If I had more closet space, I would fill it with Forever 21 handbags, their affordable bags are some of the best buys out there, well worth spending a few extra dollars.

 

4 Cardigan Gap is having a huge sweater sale just for a few days and this cardigan comes in all colors, so stock up for only twenty dollars.

 

5 Philisophy Set This is a lovely set to keep in a bathroom for some extra luxury.

 

6 Heels While most of the shoes at F21 are a bit overpriced in my opinion, these are great to throw on with some jeans for a few hours.

 

7 Cable Knit Sweater So many great Gap sweaters on sale is this is a heavier and cozy winter knit.

 

8 Jeans Old Navy is having a big sale and my favorite jeans are on sale for a limited time.

 

9 Bracelets Chunky gold arm candy look extra cool in this 4 piece set.
