Friday Favorites under $30: Weekend Style

Being surrounded by pre-fall merchandise definitely has had an influence on my color palette this week. Despite being in the middle of yet another heat wave, I find myself mixing fall colors with summer style. This is always the time of year that showcases olive greens, mustard yellows and browns to get people into a "back to school" mode, even for those of us who are well past our school days.

If you are looking for the perfect tee,  I have been obsessed with Madewell's pocket t-shirts and I already purchased the Target boots to wear now and later. I was looking for some nice solid shirts for work and came across this blouse (in a few colors thankfully) a few days ago and already want more to also wear with my denim uniform.

Ps. I will finally be back to regular blog posts this week and hope you haven't all forgotten me after being away for much too long.

Weekend Favorites - under $30

I saw so many fresh new arrivals at so many stores this weekend, I can barely keep track of what item was from what store. This list of weekend favorites are things that I am still thinking about and are my shopping wish list.

Clearly mint and polka dots are at the top of my list and yet another tote from Forever 21 looks like real leather and could pass for a designer bag in person! These past two weeks I've been at Old Navy more times that I can remember and my favorite affordable pants are on sale this week, pick some up if you get a chance. I have been seeing so many kimono's and this skull printed is my favorite
(so far). I also spotted LC aviators that look more expensive than their twenty dollar price tag.

Gift Guide: For the Hostess Under $30

The gift guide for the hostess is one of my favorites because it is all about presentation and being a thoughtful guest. Just a little something is enough to say "thank you" (since we all know how much work goes into entertaining!) at the next holiday gathering. You don't need to spend a lot a money to buy a lovely gift since everything here is under thirty dollars. While the traditional gifts of wine and flowers are always appreciated, sometimes buying a special "treat" that your hostess wouldn't normally buy for herself is even more appreciated.

3 I was impressed with the latest collection of Target statement pieces and never would have guessed they came from your local Target had I not actually seen them at the store.

4 OPI mini set I purchased a similar set last year from Ulta for myself and some of my lucky friends. This year, they added different colors and be on the lookout for upcoming promotions and coupons to get it for even less!

5 Emi-Jay hair ties are the best and cutest way to wear your hair up and I couldn't resist sharing the holiday versions (these festive colors be worn throughout the year for Valentine's Day, Fourth of July, St.Patrick's..and the list goes on.)

6 Mini Brush Kit Super soft brush set in a cool metallic case for the travel or your purse.

7 Designer Anna Sui's Collection is so pretty and display worthy.

8 This may be the cutest (or at least one of them) ring holders I've seen!

9 Kate Spade cosmetic bag - a fun splurge for a beauty lover (fill with samples for added bonus!)
