See 30+ Store Pics of Target's NEW Mossimo Collection!

The latest clothing collection at Target has a more designer look this time around. It's all in the details  and modern prints while a darker color palette signals the start of pre-fall (gasp, I know) clothing hitting the stores. These pieces can be worn year-round, something that can't be said of traditional bright summer colors. Make a list of your must-haves after seeing the store photos, then check out everything in person, it's really good! It's so new that the items aren't even available online yet.

Since I've been working retail these last few months, I haven't had the time to share everything I've wanted to with you on the blog. That will soon change in less than two weeks and I can't wait to get back to blogging on a more regular basis. Weekend Notebook: Target New Arrivals!!

I spent a long time in the clothing department at Target over the weekend. As I shopped the racks and racks of 70% off clearance clothing, I kept getting distracted by all the new arrivals and loving the black, blue and white collection (so chic and modern!). I couldn't find the new collection online yet, so if you are dying to get your hands on something or just want to check it out in person, maybe give your store a few days to put out their new inventory, since only one of my stores had everything.

Currently Craving: Target Style Edition + New Arrival pics!!

I am currently craving everything from Target..no, seriously. I have so many items in my virtual shopping cart, I actually received a message when I tried to add yet another pair of shoes that read "your cart is full, please remove an item." I shop at Target a few times a week, but this has got to be one of the best collection of new arrivals in both clothing and shoes..and the home décor! So many things look like designer versions from J.Crew or Kate Spade, maybe that's why I am so in love!

Splurge v. Steal: Peep-Toe Bootie for only $35!!

Less than 24 hours after I posted Target's new peep-toe booties on Instagram, I spotted a Nordstrom ad on their webpage spotlighting a very similar pair of booties from Steven Madden for $100. I love Steve Madden's bags and booties, but I also know that this brand does it's fair share of copy-cat chic versions of high end designers, translation: there is a more expensive pair of booties floating around in the fashion universe that may be hundreds of dollars that look identical to Target's affordable version (leave me a comment if you have seen these boots for way more!).

The Steve Madden pair is so similar to Mossimo's booties, they are even available in the same colors with the same style snap back strap, the graining on the heel and height, and of course the peep-toe opening, which is slated to be a huge trend for Spring. The best news is that more than likely we will be able to pick the affordable version for even less when they go on sale down the line, I have my eye on the cognac color.

Target Notebook - New Holiday Arrivals!! See 30+ in store pics

I was on a Target mission this morning to check out all the new holiday arrivals I was excited to see after first viewing them online and it is so good! The mostly black + white clothing with some pale pink blouses and accents is very classic, girly and chic, items you will be able to wear throughout the year. I left the clothing department without making a purchase..yet. When I see so many cute things at once, I find it best to leave the store, and think about what I really need, so I don't spend a small fortune.
