Adam Lippes for Target 40+ Store Photos + Mini Review!!

Today marked one of the quieter Target designer launches since I've been shopping these collaberations, not that I'm complaining. After the craziness of the Lilly Pullitzer launch in early summer, I think fashionistas everywhere (well, the ones who were actually aware of this collab anyway, thanks to limited marketing) were happy to be able to walk into Target on a Sunday afternoon and actually see the Adam Lippes plaid collection. My store was unusually busy by the time I arrived around 9:30ish, but I was still able to see everything that was available in store, although sizing was limited and it made for some challenging picture taking.

Overall, I loved the bags and shoes, but clothing ran quite large. The prices were on the higher side, even for a designer collection. A few random items such as a ceramic dog canister for thirty dollars (whaaat??) was strange to say the least.  I only purchased the B&W bucket bag and flats, both online. I'll be stalking quite a few items come clearance time and hopefully grab a top and sweater. The good news for all of you that can't make it to the store, most items are still available online

HUGE Target Home 40+ Store Pics: NEW Plaid Threshold + Weekend Sales!

After what seemed like a really long time for any of my local Target stores to receive the plaid home collection, now I've been seeing new home decor items popping up daily...dangerous. So far, I haven't purchased but a few smaller items here and there, I was overwhelmed with the huge selection and let's be honest, most of us will probably take our chances and hope for some clearance deals down the  line. Since I took way too many photos, including Nate Berkus's latest fall pieces, I'll be sharing part 2 next week. Up first is collection that kicks off the plaid madness to coincide with designer Adam Lippes' limited edition clothing, accessories, shoes and home décor that launches this Sunday!

Are you mad for plaid - any favorites?

See 30+ Store Pics of Target's NEW Mossimo Collection!

The latest clothing collection at Target has a more designer look this time around. It's all in the details  and modern prints while a darker color palette signals the start of pre-fall (gasp, I know) clothing hitting the stores. These pieces can be worn year-round, something that can't be said of traditional bright summer colors. Make a list of your must-haves after seeing the store photos, then check out everything in person, it's really good! It's so new that the items aren't even available online yet.

What's your favorite new arrival?

TOMS for Target Collection is almost here!

Target's partnership with TOMS arrives in stores and online this Sunday, Novemeber 16th and it's guilt-free shopping! For every Target and TOMS limited edition item you purchase, they are giving shoes, a blanket, or meals to those in need. TOMS was originally known for it's shoes and the charitable giving program "one for one", donating one pair of shoes every time a pair was purchased. I don't actually own anything from TOMS, so I'm really looking forward to shopping this collection.

Altuzarra for Target Store Pics + Review!

The latest designer collaboration for Target may be the best one yet! New York based designer Altuzarra's sexy and upscale collection is everything fashionistas on a budget were hoping to find.
Quality fabrics, embroidered details and tailored silhouettes adorn this highly sought after line.

While my third Target stop was a success, I still missed out on seeing the belts, scarves, and thigh-high boots in person, so no pictures or reviews of those items unfortunately. I only purchased the crane sweater (and that was a splurge for me since it's on the pricey side), but I'm looking forward to scooping up a few more pieces when the items hit the clearance racks and a girl's gotta be prepared to know her sizes and favorites before they go on sale...who's with me?!

Target Sale - up to 40% off picks!

Since I am at Target almost everyday it seems, I was at my store a little longer than usual on Sunday. So many new sale deals this week and as usual, online items are selling fast. Get yourself to the store as soon as you can to scoop up shorts, tank tops, dresses, cute sweaters and the list goes on. So many more prints and styles to see in person.

Target recently added more items to their impressive collection of seersucker apparel, so naturally I also added a couple of things into my shopping cart. I just can't resist this fresh, lightweight fabric. Don't miss your chance to get in on the pineapple craze with an affordable tank top. Make sure to check out the online clearance too, especially the handbags.

Happy Shopping!

Currently Craving: Vacation Style under $20

Los Angeles is in the middle of a major heat wave this week and it has me wishing for a nice breeze on a tropical beach...or at least temps under 90 degrees! There was even a power outage to go along with the 100 degree weather, so I'm stocking up on shorts and plenty of summer hats to protect my pale skin. These are all items I've seen this week (with the exception of the new Essie neon collection, I want every shade!) and the six dollar tank at H&M is something I'll be buying in every color.

What's your favorite vacation item?

{Target} Tuesday Temptations: Mini Satchel Handbags

I don't usually spotlight just one item, but last week when I saw these adorable new mini satchels from Target, I knew I had to share them with my fashionistas since they are finally available online! All the colors are so tempting with colors ranging from classic to pops of neon brights.  Personally, I have so many hangbags, I probably shouldn't be buying any of them...and yet they are already in my online shopping cart.

In person, they are even cuter (is that possible?) sitting next to or below their larger versions.  While they aren't on sale yet, you may not want to wait too long to pick one (or five) up.

What color is your favorite?

Friday Favorites: Mix & Match under $25

Happy Friday Fashionistas! Since I moved into my new place, I find myself easily distracted and unable to completely unpack every single box because I am literally just a few minutes from the mall and my favorite stores. Is it a good idea for a self-proclaimed shopaholic to move to the mall? Well, only time (and credit card bills) will tell.

This move will benefit my lovely readers the most, once I get back to blogging on a more regular basis I will be able to share even more deals, sales, and new designer launches. This week some of my favorites were at H&M and everything is under $25! The jersey dress is so nice I had to share it twice (it's also available in 5 others patterns/colors).

New Target Nautical Home + Spring + Oh! Joy Collections

About two weeks ago while browsing the Target website, I came across this new nautical home collection and every shopping trip I checked to see if it arrived in store. Last night on an evening stop, there it was and I couldn't be more pleased with the quality. While not every item I found online was available in store, I'm hoping a few more items will show up on my next trip.

If I saw these items on their own, I would have guessed that Pottery Barn was behind this very chic nautical line. With simple designs and gold accents, this is how to decorate a coastal-inspired space. I didn't buy anything just yet, I had to take it all in and see what I really "need" since I'll be back at the store very soon and by soon, I mean later tonight.

Last weekend I saw the new spring collection, which is equally fabulous and chic, so I wanted to share those pictures too. A smaller collab debuted last week with blogger and pinterest favorite called Oh!Joy which showcases more upscale party items and décor in non-traditional colors.

What do you think of the new collections?

Style Board: Inspired by Kate Hudson

When I saw a picture of Kate Hudson at the "Decades of Glamour" event, I fell head over heels for this gorgeous shade of bright yellow. Paired with white for a fresh and chic look (my favorite kind of style!). Since then, I've seen this vibrant color popping up at virtually every store. I couldn't resist also adding a bit of the Irish with some green and floral for St.Patrick's Day. After finding the Peter Pilotto sunnies at the Target launch, I'm becoming addicted to mod styles and shades to add a super affordable punch to your look.

Celeb Style Notebook: Emmy Rossum under $30

I immediately loved this casual Parisian look on Emmy Rossum. Seen in Beverly Hills grabbing  breakfast a few days ago, this very simple and chic look can be recreated with items under $30 or with things you probably already have in your closet.

While I loved the pop of red handbag with the red shoes, I find it very difficult to match the shades of red. I myself own quite a few red bags and shoes and I wouldn't wear any of them together because it  wouldn't look as polished as I would like. I love the idea of breaking up the reds with a nice neutral bag and this one from Forever 21 is so nice and white bags are a must-have for this season.

What do you think of her look - would you wear it?

My Favorite Items on Sale {under $30}

Even though spring is almost here, we are finally getting some actual weather here in Los Angeles (rain is on the way!), so I'm still in the mood for some tall boots and faux leather pieces mixed with a few neutrals this weekend. Here are my favorite sale items, most of which I've had my eye on at regular price...so this girl's already put one or three things in here virtual shopping cart.

Trend Report: Daisy prints under $25

Everything's coming up daisies for spring! This fresh retro look is more popular than ever this season, with almost every store in the mall showing some version of the daisy trend. Since this falls under the trend category of fashion, there is never any need to spend more than you have to! Here are a few of my under $25 favorites I've seen so far with the cute Zara top showing off the daisy pattern in the newly trending watercolor style.

What do you think of this print - will you wear it?

What I'm Loving Now: Hint of Mint

One of my favorite colors every spring is mint and for those of you in the minty-fresh fashion club, it's sporting a fresh new look paired with a darker hue or denim. The color is also the perfect shade to transition your winter wardrobe into the new season. It's no surprise that many of my favorites are from Target, their shoe collection in the last two weeks has been amazing and don't be afraid to rock some loafers, a chic staple in the Michael Kors brand.

What are you loving right now?

5 Favorites I'm Loving under $30

I could pretty much write a post on my favorites everyday of the week. I am always on the hunt for new arrivals and collections to share with my budget-savvy fashionistas. Even though it is 85 degrees here in sunny Los Angeles, I cannot wait until spring is officially here. Until then, I'll still be wearing my favorite black, white, and metallic looks with a pop of color...even it it's just on my nails.

Peter Pilotto for Target Collection Store Pics + Reviews!

Target's designer collaboration with Peter Pilotto finally landed in stores today after some mixed reviews on both the prints and the quality of the clothing. So far, the biggest hit items are the adorable sunnies (a perfect way to give your look a style update without breaking the bank for only $17) and the slip-on shoes for $29.99, a must-have sporty chic look for spring.

I was pretty disappointed and surprised at the lack of quality in at least half of the collection. Very thin fabric was used in the tops, I can only imagine after washing it a few times what you will be left with. I went to my usual three Target stores and my first two stores didn't even carry the accessories, which is what I really wanted to see. While I didn't get up early to be first in line, I already knew it wouldn't be busy, the full collection was still available at noon at my third and final stop.

My final review of the collection is to shop it now to see what you want down the line. Pick up some sunnies or shoes to add a pop of fun to your look if those items aren't sold out at your store. Overall, not that impressed with this one...yet I'm already looking forward to the next Target designer collaboration announcement that will likely come very soon...after all, it has to be better than this one!

While some items are sold out online, most stores are fully stocked.
Check out the list of stores to buy the items here or shop the collection online here.

I want to hear your reviews and comments - what did you think?
