Currently Craving: Fall Layers under $30 + Sales!

I feel like this might be the longest wait for fall weather since've had since... last year! It is currently 90 degrees in OCTOBER!! We are expecting rain, but not the cold rain to match the calendar, but a warm humid tropical storm, I'm seriously considering moving to actually experience "seasons"... sigh. So naturally I am craving cozy fall layers and jealous of anyone able to wear a sweater or gasp, a blanket scarf! These are some of my favorites I've seen and some items that went on sale today.

Happy first official day of fall! I've been craving pumpkin lattes, cozy sweaters, and wrap scarves since last month and wanted to share a few favorites that are currently on my fashion radar.

Currently Craving: Beach Weekend under $20 + (really good) SALES!

It's almost the weekend and with temps soaring into the nineties this week in Los Angeles, I'm ready to hit the beach...or at least "near" the beach for some outdoor shopping. Finding summer clothing and accessories is always so much fun thanks to some amazing sales and huge markdowns to get your beachy look on for even less!

Currently Craving: Minimalist Chic Under $30

Lately I've been trying to add more items to my closet that have clean lines, sheer silhouettes, and yes, more black. While spring brings florals and bright colors, I've been looking for a few basics because my wardrobe could use a few style updates. I also find that I gravitate toward those pieces when I'm in a hurry since they always work well together with minimal effort. Thankfully,  Forever 21 has also added more and more minimalistic items this past month after taking a cue from street chic looks and of course the leader in semi-affordable fashion, Zara. I'm sharing items I've seen in store that look more expensive than their price tag, always a good thing.

What do you think of this style?

Currently Craving: Street Chic Style under $25

I'm currently craving some street chic pieces to add a much needed edge to my look. While this might not be what you would typically find on a girl who's style you admire walking in the cool part of town, it's my version of a slightly less preppy way of dressing. Pair these items with some distressed jeans and you are good are go.

Currently Craving: Fall Wish List - under $50

Fall is officially here fashionistas and it's time to make your shopping wish list. While I already picked up a few items for the new season, I still want need a few more must-have's to get me through the rest of the year. Since fall fashion is typically more expensive than spring or summer pieces (thanks to chunky sweaters, heavy coats and of course, boots), I try to be more selective with my purchases and keep my spending in check...most of time.

Currently Craving: Vacation Style under $20

Los Angeles is in the middle of a major heat wave this week and it has me wishing for a nice breeze on a tropical beach...or at least temps under 90 degrees! There was even a power outage to go along with the 100 degree weather, so I'm stocking up on shorts and plenty of summer hats to protect my pale skin. These are all items I've seen this week (with the exception of the new Essie neon collection, I want every shade!) and the six dollar tank at H&M is something I'll be buying in every color.

Last weekend I moved into a new place and I'm still in the process of trying to unpack and organize everything. Since most of my week has been spent at Target and a quick trip to Nordstrom Rack, I am currently craving a few things on my shopping list that I'm hoping to pick up this weekend.

Current {online} Cravings under $25

There are only (gulp!) seven days before Christmas, so I am literally wrapping up my online shopping today..and of course I found a few items I am now currently craving! Luckily, nothing is over twenty-five dollars and I am so happy to start seeing fresh new arrivals (including the nautical-inspired scarf from where else? Target). I'll be taking a chance and ordering the metallic flats and that statement necklace looks straight from the J.Crew catalog, but for less than ten dollars!
